Going on Vacation

Good Morning Everyone! I've had so much fun lately just lurking around the net. I've found so many inspirational sites belonging to fellow stampers. On one of these great sites I found one of these really cute stationary boxes. I'm sorry I don't have a picture of it closed, cause my camera is being finicky. However, Here is a shot of it opened and of the cute card and gift card I made to go inside. I think I did pretty well for my 1st time on one of these. I thought the coffee theme was a good one to begin my new blog title with so here you go – I hope you like it. Here is where I learned how to do these cute boxes (thanks Jackie Topa) and here are the materials I used to make these: All items are from Stampin' Up!® unless otherwise noted:

Paper: Soft Sky & Au Chocolate (retired) DSP, Textured vanilla, chocolate chip

Ink: Palette® Hybrid black ink, chocolate chip

Stamps: Coffee stamps by See Dee's

Accessories: Spellbinders Nestabilities (scalloped long rectangles, rectangle, scalloped ovals, ovals, die cuts), Scalloped edge punch, ticket corner punch, stampin dimensional, wide vanilla grosgrain and narrow chocolate chip ribbon, soft subtle brads, crop-a-dile, ¾" circle punch.

I am leaving today for the U.P. to enjoy the beauty of Lake Superior and time with my family. We also have a wedding in Marquette for my cousin which I am really looking forward to.

Until I return…..

Happy Stamping!
