Spring Break!
Good Morning and Happy Saturday. I spend all day yesterday thinking it was Saturday - the kids get time off from school and I get so confused! Anyway - spring break is here and I though we weren't going to be too busy, but now we have a few things to do. My niece and nephew will be in today and I am sure for the next 2 days we will be spending time with them. Sophie and my niece, Shannon are like peas and carrots. They get along so well. They're adorable together. I wish I had had cousins my age when I was younger. I was the youngest grandchild until I was 10 and my cousin Rachel was born. I did however enjoy finally having cousins. I only have 2 cousins and they are siblings and adults now which is so hard for me grasp. They are totally awesome individuals. Rachel is now an art teacher at a University in Washington, married for almost 2 years now and smart. I'm putting in a link to her website where you can view some of her unique art work. She specializes in ceramics. Totally cool stuff. Here it is:
Anyway, now you've learned a little more about me. Gosh, I hope rachel doesn't mind.
Okay - the pic to the right is of a card I made this week for my friend and fellow stamper Sandi. She had surgery this past week on her knees (week on her knees - sounds punny). ANyway, I hope she liked it. I used the Farm Fever set along withe the dry brush jumbo wheel to simulate the wood grain. For the ewe I used a non Stampin' Up! product called souffle pens. They puff up when dry - they don't puff as much as liquid applique, but the effect is still pretty cute.
Okay - I"m off to get dressed so we can take the munchkins to a movie for family time before my niece and nephew get into town.
Oh yes, and look for a stamp camp coming up soon. I will be combining this class with a fellow demonstrator!
Oh yes, and one more thing tomorrow is the drawing to see what March hostess gets the free stamp set! Stay tuned!!
Thanks for stopping by!

That card is adorable. I found your blog from Allison's. I'll be back to visit often.
