SMILE!! What a beautiful day! I actually sent Sophie to school in capris, a short sleeved shirt (with a horse on it of course) and her crocs! Looks like it's starting to warm up here in Michigan - Finally!!!

If you've been thinking about joining us for the Stamp-a-Stack class next Friday, you may want to get your registration in soon. The class is almost full! We are really excited to do this class - the cards we've come up with are really great!!

The card I made above went to the bazaar at my church this week. I used our brass template to emboss the circles on the white background. Used some of my $1 Michaels ribbon and the Big Blooms stamp set for the current mini catalog. Cool Caribbean and real read were my choice in colors (matched the ribbon) and I used glassy glaze to super emboss the "big blooms" and a little glitter for the center of the flower. The "Smile" stamp is non SU (can you believe it?) but it just tied into the circles so well that I had to use it.

This card was one of the donations I made for the Habitat for Humanity luncheon and bazaar we had. I am not sure about the turn out, but I am hoping it went well. The family we are building the house for seems really great and it is so wonderful to be able to help them out. I made a ton of cards for the bazaar and any left over ones, I may just give to them. I'll also be sending a bunch to Dawn for the troops over in Iraq. There were a lot in my box so both should get at least 25 or more. If any of you would like to make a donation to any of these causes, please feel free to send them to me and I will pass them on. The troops really need some cards that they can use to send home to family members and such. What a great idea this is! What a great way for us to use our stamping talents don't you think?

I am off to go run my errands before my busy weekend begins - soccer game then off the Petoskey where my niece is making her 1st Communion on Sunday. What a blessed event. I am her Godmother - any ideas on what a special gift to her might be?

Oh yes, and the blog candy giveaway is only a few days away! Make your comments here to be entered!!

Have a super springy day - smile and enjoy it!
