Retiring List is Out

Happy Snow Day! The kids are home today from school due to the nasty icy snow weather we are in the midst of right now. Of course I have a bazillion things that need to get done today and now it will be very slow going. So to boost up my motivation I thought I'd post a little ditty for you today. My pic here is of a pretty little ornament I made a few years ago (as you can see). I picked up my coluzzle again recently and made some more of the really cute glass ornaments. These are so fun and easy to do and I am looking forward to making a few more for my relatives this Christmas.

Speaking of Christmas gifts - we are only a few short weeks away from my favorite holiday. I love the hustle and bustle of the season when we are going out and about to see the kids perform in their Christmas programs at school and church. Sophie gets to go caroling with her GEMS group next week and we will soon be getting together with my mom to make our Polish traditional Chruschiki. I can't wait to taste the sweet flaky pastry!
There are so many wonderful things to be thankful for and this is such a wonderful time to reflect on all our riches while keeping in mind that the greatest gift we can give anyone is the gift of Christmas - the knowledge that God has sent his only Son as a gift to us sinners so we may be forgiven and saved from our sins. What an incredible gift that is! I hope that all of you have a wonderful and blessed holiday.
