Good evening! I figured I better get on the ball and do some blogging tonite. My kids are all tucked in and my hubby is watching the Pistons game so I figured now was a good time to share the latest news.

Today was spent laying and rearranging the flooring in my basement. That sounds funny huh? Well, for those of you who don't know we have a very old house and the basement is basically all cement. Well, in the summer time this is quite nice as it is very cool down here. However, very cool is not "very cool" in the winter time when we freeze! So, in the past I bought those interlocking floor mats that are used for working out. I bought them at Target a 4 pack for around $13 (on sale). Well, I've decided to do my whole basement this way and have spent the last 2 days laying this stuff down. Of course that means I have to move everything in order to lay the flooring. But, alas most of it is done except for my laundry room. This will help keep it a little warmer down here - or at least keep the tootsies warmer than they would be on the cement floor. This last purchase for the flooring was found online for a much better price. I found them at www.getrung.com where they have lots of colors to choose from. I stayed with the charcoal as it goes with the decor of the room plus I already had the ones from Target.

The rest of my day was spend like any other Thursday, kids off to school, volunteer time at school, get Uncle Steve his lunch, pick the kids up from school, make snack, make dinner, get Uncle Steve dinner, get the kids in the bathtub, get kids to bed. Oh yes and somewhere in there Kim came over and we cut the paper for our class here tomorrow!

The paper is cut and we are ready to roll! Tomorrow night is our Stamp-A-Stack! We have 2 spots left, so if you would like to join us, just give me a call and I will save you a spot! The card shown here today is one that we will be making tomorrow! A nice masculine card for Father's Day or for a Man's birthday. So, if you want to make this card, come tomorrow! We would love for you to join in the fun!

Only a few days left for the Blog Candy drawing! Send me your comments and sign up for my blog posts (see subscribe to post Atom below)!

Now for my next and last item of information today. I will be doing my annual Open House which I am now calling my Retirement Rummage Sale and I have set the date for May 18th. This is an Open House so you are welcome to come anytime between the hours of 5:00-9:00. There will be one make n' take for you to do if you would like. The rest of the time is spend going thru my garage sale of retiring stamp sets all sold at a discounted price along with some other goodies - oh yes and free food too!

This is also the time to pre-order your new Fall catalogs as I will put an order in as soon as I can. Of course your new catalogs will be FREE when you book your workshop! Then, in June I will be having a Customer Appreciation Tea Party where you can pick up your new catalog and enjoy an evening of stamping and girl talk. So mark these two dates down! May 18 for the RRS (Retirement Rummage Sale) and June 23 will be the date for the Customer Appreciation Tea Party!

Now for one last little tidbit - For anyone who hosts a workshop in May - you will receive 20% off any retiring stamp sets - this is for any orders placed at a workshop. You will receive 10% off any other non-retiring items. Workshops must be held between May 15 and June29 to qualify for these discounts. I've never offered discounts like these before - what am I thinking? Well, I have some fresh new ideas that I would like to share with you and I am hoping to refresh your interest in Stampin' Up!
