Last Day For Free Stamps

I can’t believe how long it has been since I’ve blogged. I have been busy getting some stamping done. It has been so long since my creative juices have really been flowing.

Today I share with you a couple of non-stampin up cards that I recently made. The dog house and the cute little “Spike” bulldog are from Rubbernecker stamps. They’ve got some really cute fun stamps and many other accessories. You know what else is so awesome about these? I won blog candy of $10 to Rubbernecker from Jeanne at her InkyPaws blog. She does some really great work and I‘ve enjoyed visiting her site. Check it out sometime – I think you’ll like it too.

When I first visited the Rubbernecker website and saw the bulldog, I knew I had to get it since our school mascot is a bulldog and I have many a stamping to do for the teachers coming up for Teacher Appreciation Day and all. The trees for this card are from the awesome, but retired set Trees Three. Oh yes and for the one with “woof” on the dog house, I used the SU alphabet set, Rough Edges. I colored in Spike with my new copic markers. These markers are expensive and I am still learning to use them, but I really like how they color in. I want to try this with my SU markers next time to see the difference. Funny, you’d think I’d know how to color from 1st grade right?

Okay – some important news to share with you. I will try to keep it short and simple as I must get some more stamping in today…

First, Today is the LAST DAY FOR SALE-A-Bration orders. I will be taking orders up until 8:00pm tonight. ORDER TODAY AND GET 10% OFF YOUR ORDER! After that it is good-buy until next year for SAB. I must say that I have really enjoyed the rub-ons from SAB this year. We had fun with them at my stamp class in February where everyone got a sheet to take home. Here are some samples of my Sale-A-Bration creations including some dollar store vases I found and decorated with the rub-ons. How cute are these???

Now for the next specials that Stampin’ Up! is offering – These are absolutely awesome! Host a workshop between March 18 & April 30 – when your workshop reaches $350 or more you get an additional $25 in Hostess Dollars to spend at your workshop. OMG this is so fantastic. With a $350 workshop you will be able to pick any Level 1 or Level 2 Hostess exclusive set plus spend $65 on anything else you would like from the Spring-Summer 2008 Collection or the current Mini Catalog. $65 in Free Stamps – how awesome is that???

SU is also offering a WHEELY GREAT DEAL from now until April 30. I think we will have a Wheely Fun class in April so you can all get a chance to become experts at the Jumbo Wheels. When you purchase any of these sets: Wonderful You , Life’s a Breeze, Pun Fun, Year after Year, Stitched Exotics or Enjoy Every Moment – you will receive the coordinating jumbo wheel free with your order. I’ve decided to have a Wheely Great Stampin class on April 25th. You'll be an expert at the wheels after this one! Well, it will be fun anyway. I'm going to show you how to use the Wheel Guide found on page 185 of the catalog. If you order one of these bundles prior to the class, you will be able to attend the class for free! Orders must be in no later than 11th. FYI if you attend my April 11th class on brayered spotlight and order your wheely bundle that night, both classes will be free! Remember at my $5 classes any orders of $25 or more and the class is free!

Last, but certainly not least – I have a new SU website that I have set up. When you go there you can visit all the current catalogs plus see all my classes and many projects, not just from me, but from SU also. I have a calendar there with my classes listed and there is a place where you can request my newsletter. I am able to send you invitations for my classes from this site The link is: http://lauradiekevers.stampinup.net. Go visit and let me know what you think by leaving a comment here. There’s a little blog candy in it for one lucky winner. I have an adorable vase decorated with some rub ons for the winner! I'll draw the lucky winner on Friday!

For now I am signing off – it’s time to make some corned beef and cabbage for dinner!
Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

Laura
